Chicago police charge man who infiltrated SWAT training | app

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago police filed eight charges Tuesday against a man who climbed five stories from an emergency exit to infiltrate a police station while officers were undergoing a SWAT training exercise.

Donald Patrick, 47, of Waukegan, was charged with five counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer and three counts of burglary in Monday’s attack at the Homan Square establishment in West Chicago side. He is due to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
